Christianity VS Atheism

The ongoing debate regarding Christianity and atheism has led me to write this blog.The main issue wish to address is this argument about all the sorrow in the world, death, rape, murder, robberies, illness, etc.

For those of us who are born again spirit filled Christians the understanding is that God gave us choice. He did not create robots but gave us free will.Now my solution will not solve all the worlds trials and tribulations but will go close to improving the situation.

I also want to clear up another matter close to my heart. This theory that there are Christians and there are"Christians". For those of you who do not believe or who have no understanding about Christianity, God is going to judge all of us believers and non believers. Revelations talks about the wrath of God on judgment day in no uncertain terms! Now for anyone to pose as a Christian to further their own purposes here on earth how do you think God will judge impostors? The Bible warns of the wolf in sheep's clothing. So please let's get over this futile argument. There are Christians and there are impostors. If someone posing as a Christian does you in on a business deal they would have anyway. You have to trust the person on merit not whether you think they are Christians or impostors.

Getting back to my point re the sorrows of the world. I myself have asked why does God allow all the suffering that goes on in the world. Here is what I have come up with. The Bible talks of us being filled with the love, peace and joy of Jesus Christ. We are told to live like this and adhere to the ten commandments. The Bible says we have power through Jesus Christ to heal the sick, if only we have faith. Now this solution is aimed at all the unsaved people that commit horrendous crimes and atrocities against mankind. Imagine if you will that all Christians around the world payed it forward and made it their aim to lead just three people to the Lord. Those 3 did the same and so on and so on. What would eventually happen is that the criminals, drug lords, pimps, prostitutes etc would get saved and become Christians. Eventually ( in my world) there would be no crime. This would be a great place to start. Now let's get to the healing of the sick. I have experienced the power of prayer regarding healing personally and have heard of countless testimonies of people who have been healed by prayer. So imagine all these Christians now standing in agreement in prayer for healing of the sick? Wow! Do you think God would be well pleased and deliver the miracle of healing? I know he would.

The unemployment issue can also be sorted out as God has created so many employment opportunites today it is frightening. Imagine all of humanity working together to achieve prosperity and abundance instead of competing for crumbs? God is a limitless God.

A lot of what has been said will be foreign to unbelievers, I can assure you from personal experience that God wants you to prosper, that the power of prayer is uncanny. Maybe God is just waiting for the world to get its act together?

Lastly for those of you who passionately disbelieve and call this a myth or dream, my question to you is, What if Jesus does exist, what if all that is in the Bible is true? What if judgment day is going to happen? What is your reward for not believing? I know what my reward is for believing.
